Fresh Start Proudly Supports - Cleaning for A Reason

Pittsfield, MA – October 24, 2019 – Fresh Start has teamed up with Cleaning for a Reason, an international nonprofit serving cancer patients through free home cleaning. With a passion for helping families, owner Missy Garcia wants to extend their reach to include charitable cleans for households battling cancer.
“I just lost my mother to lung cancer in March of 2019,” said Garcia. “Having cancer and Crohn’s disease, my mother had a compromised immune system and her home needed to be free of dust and dirt. A clean home also helped her to relax, especially as family and friends dropped by unannounced. My staff have all experienced cancer in some way and we are thrilled to help cancer patients through donated home cleanings.”
Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, Fresh Start assists cancer patients by cleaning two homes per month for two consecutive months free of charge. This will be an ongoing service to cancer patients residing in Berkshire County.
